One of the greatest goaltenders of the last decade is adding another trophy to his shelf.
Tampa Bay Lightning netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy has won his second career Vezina Trophy after another impressive season between the pipes, the NHL announced Saturday.
The 31-year-old appeared in 58 games for the Lightning this season, placing third in the NHL with a .912 save percentage and second with a 2.31 goals-against average.
He also posted two shutouts and had a league-leading 39 wins, tied for the second-most of his career.
Vasilevskiy earned 17 first-place votes and was named on 28 of the 32 ballots, finishing with 114 total points to beat out second-place Ilya Sorokin (51 points) and third-place Jeremy Swayman (46 points).
The Tyumen, Russia, native won his first Vezina in the 2018-19 season.
